Craftsmen Industries Builds Three Open-Stage Box Truck Displays for AT&T

Some products are easier to understand in person, with someone knowledgeable standing beside you. AT&T wanted to bring that kind of conversation to customers rather than waiting for customers to come to a store. Working on a Derse project, Craftsmen Industries built three 16-foot box trucks with open stages and branded interiors for three separate tours across America.

The Challenge: Helping Customers Understand Products in Person

Craftsmen Industries built the AT&T trucks to support in-person product education.

AT&T faced a competitive market in which customers valued help making informed purchase decisions. The brief called for a mobile way to introduce products and services, educate visitors and support sales conversations, taking the display and the AT&T team to popular locations around the country.

Opening the Truck Into a Visitor-Facing Stage

Craftsmen Industries designed the AT&T box trucks to open into stages.

The side of each box opens to reveal a stage deck, with the raised upper panel forming an awning. Aluminum guardrails define the deck edge, and staircases at both ends provide access to the display. The black header carries the AT&T name and globe mark, while blue promotional panels appear on the dark stage skirting. Deployed, each truck reads as a complete mobile storefront.

An Interior Built Around Product Interaction

Craftsmen Industries fitted the AT&T trucks with branded product showroom interiors.

Inside, bright blue walls frame a wall-mounted screen and floating wood shelves. Cabinet-base counters carry purpose-made product display stands that bring devices into the consultation area. A white charging-station tower contains individual lockers, with an upholstered bench beside it.

Designed for Conversation

Light wood finishes and additional screen space complete an interior that supports product demonstrations and the conversations described in the tour brief.

Three Trucks, Three National Tours

Craftsmen Industries delivered three box truck displays that supported three separate AT&T tours across America.

The completed trucks brought onsite consultants and custom product displays to existing and prospective customers. Their open stages made the exhibits visible from outside, while the interiors gave room for demonstrations and discussion. Building three matching units gave AT&T a repeatable mobile setting it could run on parallel tours.

Why Box Trucks Work for Experiential Tours

Craftsmen Industries builds promotional vehicles, box trucks, stage trailers and mobile showrooms for experiential marketing.

A 16-foot box truck is maneuverable enough for popular public locations yet large enough to hold a full stage and showroom. In transport mode the AT&T trucks close up for the road, then open into a staffed storefront on arrival.

How Craftsmen Approaches Experiential Tour Builds

Craftsmen Industries designs experiential vehicles for brands, agencies and touring producers.

Its experiential work covers promotional vehicles, box trucks, expandable stage trailers and mobile showrooms for product sampling, pop-ups, brand tours and healthcare outreach. Units can be purchased or leased to fit a tour, and a single unit and a multi-unit fleet are scoped differently. One team carries a project from concept and 3D modeling through fabrication, graphics and delivery.
